Administrative History

The Professional Organization of Women was an unofficial group of professional and faculty women who sought to enhance the political awareness and activities of all of its members, most particularly in GVSC, local, state, and national policies and laws as they relate to women, provide a vehicle for the professional, scholastic, and personal development of all women on the GVSC campus, to be a liaison with other women's groups on campus and in the community, and to provide opportunities to work as a group for any other cause which they majority feel is worthwhile.
