Grand Valley State University. University Academic Senate/Executive Committee of the Senate
The All College Academic Senate (ACAS) is a faculty body which deals with matters affecting academic or faculty. Its recommendations are made to the Provost. The Executive Committee of the Senate (ECS) serves as the clearing house for matters to be presented to the full senate. Matters requiring senate action are discussed by ECS before its recommendations are made to the senate.

Abstract University Academic Senate (UAS) previously the All-College Academic Senate (ACAS), is the highest faculty governance body. It has the authority to deal with any academic issue or faculty concern.
