Subcommittee formed to examine the N.C.A. finding that the "weakest element in the present Grand Valley picture is the quality of the student body." They found that the students fall far short of the quality of the faculty, and that by tightening the enrollment standards the quality of the student body would improve. After the final report was submitted, the committee reconvened as the Subcommittee on College Objectives as related to the Student Body. Their charge was to conduct study of students who dropped out and consider raising enrollment requirements.
