Author Recognition Bibliography
Starting in 2007, Grand Valley State University Libraries has annually recognized and honored faculty and staff who published work within the past year. Publication examples include books, chapters, articles, proceeding papers, visual media, short stories, or other published work. A printed bibliography citing accomplishments is created in conjunction with this event.
Academic and Student Affairs Committee meetings
Contains meeting agendas, minutes, supplemental materials and related correspondence of the Academic and Student Affairs Committee of the GVSU Board of Control from 1979 to 1986. Also includes one file of general correspondence between the Provost's Office and the Board of Control, dating between 1983 and 2002.
Center for Continuing Education annual report
This annual report is a summary of the continuing education activities conducted during the 1978-1979 fiscal year. The report represents a variety of academic units that extend programs to evening and off campus students. A review of the programs and relevant statistical data are included.
Faculty research and distinguished contribution award files
Research and Development files from 1969, maintained by Chair Howard Stein and others, include minutes, memos and correspondence, other administrative records and reports, and grant proposal files. Funded and denied grant proposal files from 1977/8 for research support may also include Human Research Committee files, stipends, and travel files. After 1983 the committee managed the Distinguished Contribution awards.
Kevin Cole geological and mining reports
Collection of geological, mining, and mineralogical reports from the United States, Canada, and several other countries, spanning from 1881 to 1993. The bulk of the reports cover the areas of Canada and the United States, though other areas of the world are also represented, including the Arctic and Antarctica. Most of the reports were produced by government agencies such as the U.S. Department of the Interior, or the Candian Ministry of Mines or Department of Mines and Resources.

Commencement Files
Convocation Files
Series contains planning documents and printed programs of any GVSU event called a 'Convocation', including annual events such as Opening, Honors, and Academic Convocations; and special convocations for visiting dignitaries, honorary degree awards, and departmental events.
Deans Council minutes and agendas
Contains minutes, agendas, supplemental materials, and related correspondence of the Deans Council from 1985 to 2012 and the Provost's Cabinet from 2012 to 2015. Also contains one file on Dean's Retreats from 1984-2001.
Division of Arts and Humanities annual report
This annual report of the Division of Arts and Humanities (now College of Liberal Arts and Sciences) was presented to the Board of Trustees. The report contains a divisional report from the dean, unit reports from each department, and tables that depict the amount of student hours taught and Arts and Humanities majors.
Eberhard Center files
Contains early records and promotional materials relating to the programs and services of the L. V. Eberhard Center on Grand Valley's Grand Rapids Campus.
Bilingual Education Training Program records
Series contains records relating to bilingual education training at Grand Valley State Colleges between the years of 1971 and 1979. Files include program proposals, correspondence and memoranda, administrative files, CVs and biographical information about program directors and instructors, and information about student teachers and courses. The records also document grant-funded projects, as well as initiatives such as the Right To Read program.

Faculty Handbook
Faculty Handbook of policies and procedures for Grand Valley faculty, published as a physical book from 1967-2005 and as a PDF from 2006-2017. In 2018, the Faculty Handbook was replaced by the GVSU Policies website.

Global GVSU: Resource Guide for Faculty and Staff
Resource guide for faculty and staff of the Padnos International Center. Guide includes information on opportunities to study abroad, develop international partnerships, and on grant, teaching, and sabbatical opportunities. Titled Resource Guide for Faculty and Staff until 2014, when it was renamed to Global GVSU: Resource Guide for Faculty and Staff.

This handbook is a guide for graduate program management that covers administrative duties, application and admission processes, research and thesis guidelines, as well as general rules.
Graduate Programs Student Survey
In August 1988 Grand Valley State University made a significant commitment to graduate education, by hiring an Associate Director of Graduate Admissions. In an effort to understand how graduate programs and services were being used, the Associate Director conducted a telephone survey of current and past graduate students. The final report of the Graduate Student Survey was released in April 1989.
Graduate Student Celebration and Graduate Dean's Citations for Academic Excellence
This publication is produced by the Office of Graduate Studies in collaboration with the Graduate and Professional Student Association. The publication is produced for an event held each semester and includes an awards ceremony list and names of each student graduating along with their thesis abstract.
Graduate Student Guidebook
This informal guide for new graduate students was prepared in response to the suggestions of many graduate students, communicated through surveys, forums, and face-to-face meetings. The guidebook contains an office directory, where to turn for advice or guidance, program options, and when matters related to an individual's graduate program should be acted on.
Grand Forum program files
Series contains program files documenting the history and activities of the Grand Forum continuing education series run by the Alumni Relations office. Files include advisory board materials, membership rosters, event programs, speaker lists, brochures, and newsletters produced by the program from 1995 to 2021.
Grand Valley State audiovisual media collection
This artificial collection contains video tapes, audio tapes, CDs, and DVDs of Grand Valley State speeches, lectures, events, ceremonies, athletics events, programs, and promotional media. The collection's contents span from 1968 to 2016.
Grand Valley State University Accountability Reports
This annual report is compiled by University Communications for the President to present to the Board of Trustees. They report the success and standing of Grand Valley in relation to other Michigan state colleges and universities through statistical and normative data.
GVSU Shakespeare Festival
