Administrative History

The mission of the Milton E. Ford LGBT Resource Center is to educate, support and empower students to lead authentic lives, to challenge systems of gender and sexuality, and to work for social justice. The Center opened in 2008 under the direction of Dr. Milton E. Ford, and was then a unit within the Division of Student Services. In October 2015 the Center joined the Division of Inclusion and Equity. The Center hosts programs, events, and workhops, connects students and faculty with resources and information, and creates a space of community for LGBTQIA+ students and allies on campus.
