Collection Description The collection consists of seven handwritten bound diaries maintained from October 23, 1906 to July 30, 1957. Diaries were maintained routinely throughout this time with gaps from 1918 to 1922, 1936 to 1944, and from 1949 to 1953 indicating that some volumes may be missing. Content Description Business ledger with blue faux-marbled paper covers and a brown leather spine from George and Alice Davis, who would go on to own the Stow Davis Furniture Company out of Grand Rapids.
