Collection Description Videotaped interviews and transcripts of the former players in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. The collection consists of interviews conducted by Grand Valley State University faculty and associates at reunions and other league events. Interviewees discuss their experience in the league and their lives after the league ceased to exist.
Content Description Collection contains video tapes of home movies of the All-American Girls Baseball League practices, games and a 1986 reunion. Footage was collected by Mary Louise "Wimp" Baumgartner, who played as a catcher in the league for Peoria and South Bend. Footage includes the Kalamazoo Klouters, Peoria Redwings, Rockford Peaches, and South Bend Blue Sox.
